what happened to fall?

Seems there was not fall this year, or just a very short one. We went from 70's and 80's in October to 30's and 40's in Nov and early Dec. I guess I can't compain though since Sep and Oct were such nice weather months. This winter has had a different start than last year when it was a very mild December from what I recall.
