text messaging like a teenage girl

Gradually over the last few years I've gone from maybe sending/receving 10 text messages a month to now about 200-300 month. Before I only used it at loud places and it took forever to write a sentence but now I use it all the time, and am much faster at my text message writing. I've looked at my cell phone bills and now I definitely do more texting then calling. It's one of those things that was so gradual that I can't really pin point when I started to text.
